The Grove City Area Visitors and Convention Bureau operates a Welcome Center at 3378 Park Street in the Town Center. The Park Street entrance has numerous pieces of travel literature available 24/7. Additional Ohio travel information and literature for Central Ohio attractions and other counties in Ohio are available inside the building Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Some popular Central Ohio literature pieces include, The Columbus Zoo and Zoombezi Bay, COSI, Historic German Village, Hocking Hills, Santa Maria, Columbus Museum of Art, Wexner Center for the Arts, Franklin Park Conservatory, Gardens at Gantz Farm, Metro Parks and much more. Special requests are fulfilled by direct mail, E-mail and by calling 800-539-0405. New residents or others considering a move to Grove City can pick-up or request a New Resident Package filled useful information.
The City of Grove City has dedicated space for a museum at 3378 Park Street in the Welcome Center building. The museum is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and on some special holidays and occasions. One of the showcase items is a 1914 Model T Ford in mint condition. Other exhibits include an 1895 “high speed” wooden washing machine, turn of the century parlor, 1917 portable typewriter, cameras dating to the late 1800's and much more. It is operated in cooperation with the Southwest Franklin County Historical Society. There is no admission.
